Chief executive's welcome

Our mission is to provide a formidable education, within the classroom and beyond, to inspire the next generation of global citizens.

The Learning Community Trust is a multi-academy trust which spans education for children and young people from the age of 2 years old, through to 16 years old, and up to 25 years old in our specialist settings. We have nurtured strong links and partnerships with local further education providers to support post-16 transition. We are a developing trust which has grown and is growing since its formation in 2017 – find out more about our academies by clicking here.

Community is at heart of everything that we do here at the Learning Community Trust, as we believe our academies should be at heart of the local area, to support our families as their children and young people progress through their school life. We want our academies to be the first choice for parents, because they are outstanding academies, with great support, serving the local area.

Children and young people in our academies are as the forefront of everything. We want to ensure that every child and young person is happy, safe, and is learning in our academies to ensure that they achieve at every stage of their education.

We want our children and young people to achieve the best qualifications they can with high aspirations, but we must also support and nurture them to develop as amazing, respectful young people who can communicate well, have a great work ethic, and value all others in our society.

Our work within our specialist academies is built on the same values, we have high aspirations of all our children and young people; supporting and meeting their individual needs to ensure they are happy, safe, and making the best possible progress in our care. We must ensure that they are supported and prepared, the same as all young people, for the next steps in their lives, including, ensuring they are building their independency and employability skills.

As a trust we are here to support and challenge our academies, to ensure they are the very best they can be. Our core business is school improvement, and we have a focused school improvement strategy working with leaders in our academies, alongside a fantastic attendance and welfare team which support the pastoral teams in our academies.

We provide a wide range of services, great academy campuses which are well maintained and resourced, so they are stimulating places to learn and work. We believe the learning environment is so important to our children, young people, and staff, and this is reflected in the care of our sites.

We cannot do it alone, we, as a trust, are so lucky to have amazing, highly committed, and inspirational staff, who want to do the very best for our children and young people no matter what their role is in the academy or in the trust.

You will find loads of information about the trust and our academies on our website, but if you would like any further information, please contact us.
