Queensway School is seeking an inspirational, values-driven Principal to lead its SEMH and
Autism provision through an exciting period of growth and transformation.

As Principal of Queensway, you will provide strategic, visible and compassionate leadership across
one school and two specialist sites, ensuring that children and young people with Social, Emotional
and Mental Health needs, Autism, Communication and Interaction needs receive an ambitious,
inclusive and life-changing education.
Queensway is entering a defining phase, including the opening of a new purpose-built SEMH school
and the unification of specialist SEMH and Autism provision as one school. This is a rare opportunity
to build on strong foundations, nationally recognised specialist practice and exceptional academic,
vocational and personal outcomes.
We are looking for a leader who can inspire staff, engage families, champion vulnerable young
people and create the conditions in which every pupil feels safe, understood, supported and ready
to learn. You will bring the vision, resilience and expertise to lead a complex specialist provision,
embed evidence-informed practice, strengthen professional development and contribute to wider
Trust improvement.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with successful senior leadership experience, a
strong understanding of safeguarding and school improvement, and a deep commitment to
inclusion, high expectations and the belief that every child can achieve.
