Primary schools across the Learning Community Trust are celebrating an outstanding set of Key Stage 2 SATs results, with every school exceeding national expectations.
The Trust runs five primary schools across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin: Hadley Learning Community, Wrekin View in Wellington, Lantern at Ketley Bank, Crudgington, and Allscott Meads.
SATs tests measure how well pupils have learned core parts of the curriculum and give both parents and schools a clear picture of attainment and progress.
Leading the celebrations is Allscott Meads Primary Academy, where 100% of Year 6 pupils left the school having met or exceeded the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined.
Crudgington Primary School also enjoyed an exceptional year, with 94% of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined.
Hadley Learning Community, Wrekin View, and Lantern also saw their pupils reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, producing results which were above the national average.
Maddie Griffin, executive director of education at the Learning Community Trust, said: “These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, resilience and ambition shown by our pupils throughout their time in our primary schools.
“We are incredibly proud of every child who has completed their SATs this year and of the staff who have supported them every step of the way.
“It is particularly pleasing to see our academies achieving excellent outcomes. Behind every percentage is a child who has worked hard, overcome challenges and is now ready to begin the next stage of their education with confidence.”
She added: “These results are a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of our families and, above all, the determination of our pupils.
“Across the Trust, we strive to provide an exceptional education for every child, and it is wonderful to see that commitment reflected in the success of our schools.”
The Trust said it wanted to congratulate every Year 6 pupil on their achievements and thank staff, governors, parents and carers for the support they have provided throughout the children’s primary journey.
