Working with Telford College, the Learning Community Trust are pleased to introduce Maths and English courses for our communities, taking place within a number of our schools. Classes will be available in the evenings at Hadley Learning Community , Burton Borough School and New Road Academy. Classes will start in January and are available to people over the age of 18.
Classes are open to our communities, you do not need to be a parent or family member of a child attending one of the above named schools to attend.
This is a perfect opportunity to: gain a recognised maths or English qualification within 16 weeks, help with progression within employment or further study, develop key skills that can help within day to day life, support your child with their homework, meet new people within your community, take time to develop your interests.
Courses are delivered by friendly and expert maths and English teachers, specialist in delivering to adult learners who work together to break down barriers to learning, and create a warm and inclusive learning environment; all delivered within a local school building.
