Finance was a career change for me following several years in sales. Since then, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a degree in Applied Accounting. I trained and qualified at a firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors and during this time won the ACCA global prize for the highest mark worldwide in Audit and Assurance.
Prior to joining the Trust, I held senior finance roles in manufacturing and professional services within the private sector. These roles included board level appointments and covered UK and global operations. This experience equipped me with comprehensive expertise in strategic financial management, operational efficiency, and executive level business partnering and engagement.
As Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Trust’s Executive Team, I oversee all aspects of Trust finance. I am responsible for the financial development, sustainability, and probity of the organisation. I lead the Trust’s finance function to ensure it supports the efficient and effective delivery of our educational objectives, and I support the CEO in his role as Accounting Officer, ensuring strong financial governance across the Trust.
