About

I have been in education for over 20 years; throughout my career, I have always had a passion for ensuring that every student, regardless of background, fulfils their potential through high quality education. From my early role as a PE teacher, through to managing sixth forms followed by a variety of leadership roles, that passion for children to succeed burns ever brighter – I see how education and the experiences children have within academies provides them with the foundation to triumph in life. As Principal of Hadley Learning Community, and later as Executive Principal, I witnessed the power of education as the academies maintained a position in the top 5% nationally and how that success led to a positive impact on the wider community it served. The work at HLC prepared me for the next step in my career, developing the Learning Community Trust. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of the LCT journey since its conception to what is now a strong trust that improves academies and the lives of our children. I am pleased that we have been able to build a family of academies that have a shared vision and work so hard to secure the positive experiences for our pupils.

Responsibilities

In my current role I am fortunate to lead on education aspects of the Trust, ensuring that our academies become the learning environments we would all be proud of. I lead a talented and experienced school improvement team that drive our academies forwards by sculpting a high-quality education and enrichment offer for our pupils.
