About

I have worked within a range of roles within the education sector for over 14 years, where I have been student facing and worked in business operations. The breath of my exposure to
roles in the sector, enables me to step back and see the bigger picture, working in a collaborative way with all departments. During this time, I have reviewed, developed and implemented many systems, processes and standardised approaches, ensuring that they are student centred, and are value for money alongside understanding how the support services support teaching and learning.

I have had a more focused role Since 2020, managing digital and IT teams. I have overseen strategic goals, and lead projects such as: network refreshes, end-use device evaluation and deployment, virtual reality development embedded into curriculum, learning environment design harnessing digital technology, both in the standard classroom and how we get digital technology to people would not usually access it.

As the Digital Innovator and Technical Lead at the Learning Community Trust, I am responsible for oversight and strategic vision and direction for all Digital, IT and Data Services. This includes ensuring governance compliance for relevant statutory regulation such as Keeping Children Safe in Education, harmonising our IT estate to gain consistency throughout the trust, leading high level digital and IT procurement in conjunction with the finance function, alongside responsibility for centralised data reporting to inform trust leadership, trust board and local governing bodies.  In addition, working with the Communication and Project Lead to develop and manage the trust’s digital communication platforms such as websites and digital presence.
