Following my graduation in Business Studies and Finance I undertook my professional qualifications in HR (CIPD) and have developed a career at senior level within Human Resources in Commercial and Public sector organisations based in the UK and abroad. My experience has included leading and developing strong HR/ People teams in all aspects of the function, working with senior teams around workforce planning, leadership and management development, talent and succession career pathways together with setting up good systems and processes to support managing the people function . This allows the opportunity for professional growth and development for all staff within an organisation ensuring processes are consistent and good practices are followed to support the growth of the organisations and value the people that are a key to its success.
My role as Director of People is to lead the People strategy and team at the Learning Community Trust across all people functions including recruitment and selection, induction and probation, performance management and support all staff during times of wellbeing challenges. The role is key to supporting staff and their leadership teams to fulfil their roles and responsibilities and make the Trust an employer of choice where students get a great experience of learning and achievement, and staff thrive in a culture of collaborative and supportive teams.
